Finnish trio Regina have just released their album Puutarhatrilogia, which translates to “Garden Trilogy” and was conceived as “a loosely-structured allegory using the garden as a metaphor for the human mind.” MIND GARDENING! They must be kindred spirits. Our Finnish is lacking so we have no idea what is going on in the mesmerizing, minimalist “Sinun tässä salissa,” but its sound invokes bhangra, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Indonesian pop and Young Marble Giants, and would be a lovely soundtrack to your backyard hanging orchid oasis if you ball like that. Puutarhatrilogia is their first album released in the US, and hopefully won’t be their last.

“Sinun tässä salissa” means Yours in this hall. Not gonna translate the whole lyric since the connotations would be lost in translation.
