The Let Out: Tremor & Chancha via Circuito

July 16, 2010

Tonight on the Let Out, the FADER's weekly show on East Village Radio, we have some very special guest DJs headed to the station directly from Kennedy Airport, where they will have just landed from their home of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Tremor (above) and Chancha via Circuito are two of futurist tropical label ZZK Records' flagship artists, each playing their own twisted take on Argentinian folklore or digital cumbia, fusing the next level of electronics with rhythms that are eternal. They're about to embark on the ZZK summer tour with several of their labelmates, and we are psyched to share their first few hours in New York as they play the freshest tropical jams and we talk to them about being generally awesome. Go here to stream Chancha's latest album and check their North American tour dates, and listen live to the Let Out this and every Friday from 6-8 PM on East Village Radio. Bonus: if you're in New York, go here to win tickets to ZZK's date at Brooklyn Bowl!
