We didn’t really know what we were getting ourselves into when we went to Nike’s Make Something headquarters at Nike Stadium last week. We knew A-Trak would be there, and that maybe he would teach us a thing or two about producing and DJing. But we didn’t know puppets were involved. Make Something is a series of workshops where students learn and make everything from poster design, cinematography, skateboard graphics, paintings, flags and other miscellaneous crafty activities. We went to A-Trak’s workshop and caught up with him about what he was planning on teaching. The students are presenting their work and playing an A-Trak inspired piece this weekend at Rucker Park in celebration of the World Basketball Festival.
