Trae might have one of the most underrated voices in rap. Perpetually hoarse and mellow even when he's rapping over beats that sound like getting punched in the face by Castlevania. "Cop a Drop" is a more mellow offering, there are even horn flutters—FLUTTERS! But like most of Trae's songs, he doesn't sound out of his element and it doesn't sound forced. This dude is comfortable being sad. Also, this is produced by Mr. Inkredible, who produced this ridiculously awesome track with Wayne and Ross.
