Hickoree’s Sells Toys For Rapscallions

September 09, 2010

We best knew Hickoree's Hard Goods as a purveyor of fine sartorial goods, pages and pages of Hill-Side kerchiefs and Tender Co. tees. But on second look, the online store also has a healthy selection of wacko ephemera straight from a Kennedy-era childhood, items that curious rapscallions like Wally and the Beav probably would have loved. In the toy chest: a freeze-dried astronaut ice cream straight from NASA, a robin-red bird call for only $9, heirloom tomato seeds for growing the biggest crop at the county fair, and probably our favorite, a classic slingshot. Reminds us of those mail order pages in the back of a comic book that had everything a kid could ever need, however we advise you to be careful—we don't know the legal liabilities of grown men and women using slingshots on their neighbors. More curiosities after the jump.
