In case you have not heard, Jay-Z was at Yankee Stadium last night performing with some of his friends, some of his friends' friends, some of his friends' friends' friends and probably your mom. The sector of New York that was not performing was in the audience, including a rapt Beyonce and Will Smith, who can be seen adoringly jamming out in our clip from a VIP Soundstage-eye view, courtesy FADER boss Rob Stone. There are plenty of videos of these shows on the internet, but none really show the majesty of the stage setup like this one. We made a joke the other day about our production designer's huge new computer monitor being "Jay-Z home theater size," but clearly we had no idea.
