A loving homage to forgettable late ’80s/early ’90s recurring SNL character Toonces the Driving Cat? A commentary on gender politics substituting the models of the “Addicted to Love” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” videos with cats? A fan-fic alternate ending to this past summer’s Cats & Dogs sequel? No, you’re probably right, it’s meme fodder. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t work, though.
