Watching Porcelain Raft perform live, it's like he's been doing it for years and might die the second he stops. On a recent jaunt through New York for CMJ, Mauro Remiddi hopped on stage alone and proceeded to play a couple of the more intense sets we saw all week. While "Tip of Your Tongue," his previous single, is overwhelmingly nice. It's when he gets more aggressive that he's at his most compelling. And this recording of "Back of My Eyes" is like that—Remiddi's sugar sweet voice floating over the top of cut up swishes and guitar that buzzes and then blooms outward beautifully. We cannot recommend this dude's live show enough, but this is pretty great as well.
