FADER #66 covergirl Nicki Minaj has been lighting up the internet for an entire year, most recently because of a presumed attack on Lil Kim, her supposed predecessor. Which is good for blog posts, but her debut Pink Friday will probably end all comparisons. You can't tell a ton from the 30 second samples below, but it's enough to know that she is not trying to be the chick in some clique—she is on some other level of weird pop music that is closer to Madonna than the Queen Bee.
