The original version of Patrick Wolf's "Time of My Life" is really dramatic. So is the remix. But in different ways, like Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now and The West Wing, serious performances both, but not suited for the same stage. Wolf's got an ’80s voice, crux of "Time of My Life" his serious wail. But Still Going, venerable NYC DFA duo, remove Wolf completely (save some mild background panting), bolstering the original's string drama for Studio 54 lushness. Both versions will be on a limited 12-inch available in December preceding new Wolf's album early next year.
