Lapti’s out of Moscow and looks deceptively young up there, but his back-catalog is staggeringly developed: pitched-up Mims cloud surfing, actual iced-out drum crackle on “Motherland.” Nocow’s page is briefer, his repertoire darker, the Soundcloud comment bars sparser but just as excited. Together they’ve released a short one, promisingly labeled “part one.” There are a million breaks you could add on top and it would be a king of that genre. Love the shape of the Soundcloud waves, such a solid lil nugget.
