Momma Deb’s Trying To Get Waka and Gucci on BET

January 18, 2011

Last week we found Gucci Mane not receiving mental health assistance and thought: Where is VH1? This week he's telling some folks that he's self aware to know his current life-station is television hyper-real, so he's on camera taping a pilot to be pitched to BET. Gucci says the show will feature his and Waka Flocka's buddy antics, demonstrate how much they love each other and their community. We already know y'all are sweet! But the project would create a new and steady platform for outspoken manager Debra Antney, Waka's mom. Antney moved from Queens to Atlanta to start Mizay Entertainment with a nearly all-female staff and managed Nicki Minaj once upon a time. We don't think the Brick Squad boys necessarily need any more surveillance on them but Miss Deb's wig game is proper and she's made for cable night time; she's the lady you meet late at a party that talks and curses too much but says amazing things like "I am a Creator" and "I love Ja Rule," and is so funny you wish she could share whatever she's drinking with the whole entire world. What we mean is BravoTV, we love love Nene Leakes (shout out Clarke Central High School) but you are missing an opportunity. Down under the jump, see your new-favorite reality guide talk about her background in Social Services, throwing funerals for animals and getting fired by Nicki.
