Zooey Deschanel is just real likable. So are other good natured, corn-fed and politely bred Americans from places where it’s not a long drive to a rope swing and some cool water. But she’s famous, so we’re gonna write about her. She and Him, her duo with M. Ward, have a new video for “Don’t Look Back” with a super weird Twilight Zone in the day meets sad Julianne Moore in nice dresses Far From Heaven scene. Cool! And Deschanel’s got a new-ish Tumblr, which the folks at GQ made us aware of. It has pictures of creepy dolls and baby panda montages. “Zooey’s Miscellany,” as its called, is about half what our miscellany is like (your guess at which half overlaps).
