If Celestial Bodies is a goth-y band, "What Am I" is a baptism/departure. It's a straightforward run of heartbeat bass, keyboard and drooling back vocals. If the song is optimistic it's not in a puffed out, hard won way, but more reminiscent of the candid assurance that grows in between moments of intentional living, when we catch ourselves off guard, maybe in the mirror at 3am when we wake up to go pee, and feel for a moment calm and bright.
