Staff Affections: Epaulet

Every Thursday, FADER style intern Stephanie Osei asks employees and employers at our favorite shops around the world what their most cherished in-store item is at that exact moment. This week, we caught up with New York City's Epaulet.

Michael, Epaulet:
The Rivet Chino is our most signature piece. Handmade in our Los Angeles denim factory, it's a slim cotton trouser with a perfect fit and a slew of unique details. It has a medium-low rise and a small leg opening which works well with proper shoes, boots, and trainers. The front and fly close with gunmetal donut buttons. The pockets are crafted in rugged hickory-stripe cotton twill. A hidden front coin pocket is perfectly sized to accommodate a few cards and some cash, thereby doubling as a mini-wallet.

This batch of the EP's Rivet Chino's is crafted in 100% Japanese cotton. It has a tonal herringbone pattern and an overall dark charcoal color tone. With a pair of dress shoes, these can effectively pass for dress trousers. And they're still easily worn with casual pieces and boots. Like all of our other Rivet Chinos fabrics, this is fully machine washable.
