We Slept On Na'Tee But Are Making Up For It By Watching "Back To The Block" All Day

Huge bummer that the video above was uploaded to YouTube in September 2010 and we are only now hearing it. Our fault, Na'Tee. But "Back 2 Da Block" is one of the better, more promising songs we've heard in a bit. Wildly dissonant beat and serious, serious rapping. There's probably a long idea here about why this song works so well, and how Na'Tee is an insanely promising rapper and grossly overlooked, but we're just listening to this over and over and trying to figure out how someone from New Orleans managed to make a song that sounds like the darker corner of the DITC catalog. PS, she has a Mystikal co-sign on her site.
