If/since Beyonce can do anything, could she return with better than an attempt to mainstream Diplo and Switch‘s experimental dance/humper freakout “Pon De Floor” ? She did it with their blessing—the Major Lazer boys re-tailored the song for her. If mainstreaming means offering the folks strong enough to bear the children multiple opportunities to proclaim their value in public all summer, do we mind? This will sound much better once the drops are gone and the production’s finished.

This song is Now officially dead, the beat is already a few years old and and every club, festival and DJ has abused it to death. I love Major Lazer and the Pon de floor track but now give it a rest, and Beyonce WTF you might have slept on this beat but the rest of the world hasn’t. Keep up B.
