"Firework Spraying Moon" sounds kind of like whatever firework spraying moon might be, little spare sound pieces flipping by and lighting the track, jittery riffs from indeterminate instruments bought on the side of the road. Taken from Jonti's upcoming debut Twirligig, out this fall on Stones Throw, "Moon" sets the bar high for the South African/Australian, suggesting shades of a more beat-centric Brian Wilson. The 45rpm single comes out on August 9th.
