Chazwick Bundick aka Toro y Moi swiftly follows up Underneath the Pine with his new EP Freaking Out (out September 13th on Carpark). It’s a blissed-out, funk-infused take on the old what-day-of-the-week-I’m-in-love trope. Saturday feels appropriate for Budnick, who, from the sounds of it, seems pretty chilled out 24-7.

I think it’s a cool cover.
I like how he’s always changing his sound.
The mix on this sounds cleaner than on his previous efforts and its seems like he’s switching to 80′s synthpop unlike the psychedelic funk/rock sound on UTP.
