What a pleasant surprise to actually talk to Grimes after she came down from the ethereal electro haze of her performance at the FADER/vitaminwater Capsule event. We half expected her to speak in some strange hybrid sprite-speak, but she is a super down to earth (if a little elfin in looks). Here, she talks about wanting to have the chops of a producer with the spirit of a diva.

The nob twisting and djing while she sings is cool and all but I think the audience would love to see her just like be %100 with her vocals and stage performance too.
