The reasonable but sad message of “The Wrong Things,” is that it’s not worth getting upset when things go badly. Written, performed and recorded by Denver’s Josh Wakembe under the banner The Morning Clouds, it opens with a major chord and a cooing procession that makes his voice sound somehow bigger despite being the only vocalist in the room. You imagine him swinging bravely through the track’s loose-wristed drums and jagged guitar alone, but not lonely. His record is out on Lefse October 11th.
