It's pretty awesome when How to Dress Well decides to do these out of nowhere re-works of existing songs, eroding them to their basic essence and then building them up again as fractured, homemade pop. Here he takes on Marina and the Diamonds’ "Radioactive" with all the muffled emotion of someone performing the track alone in their room. But it's all about the illusion of intimacy, this is actually blown out and so imperfect that it loops back around and becomes close to perfect. Is How to Dress Well pop music's Ouroboros?
