When he's not starring in Ryan Trecartin movies, Telfar is best known for his bizarre but wearable clothing. This year, he's taking active wear to a whole new level, collaborating with artist Lizzie Fitch to turn the evening into a mobile affair. Different presentations of the clothes will be popping up all over town throughout the week, from a bodega to a rooftop, and you can follow @TELFARGLOBAL to find out where he'll be next.
Last night's first formal presentation of the collection, though, was stationary and awesome. Clothes hung on racks while models were projected on the wall in full, styled outfits. And in a move fairly novel to New York Fashion Week, attendees were also customers, able to purchase items from his spring 2012 collection right off the racks.
