Kindness‘ Adam Bainbridge, the freakfunk longhair who brought you “Swinging Party,” returns quietly with more blooming ebb-and-shuffle, almost two years later. “Cyan”’s husky, wet disco march dissipates after climax and airs itself out. The track, recorded with French producer Phillipe Zdar, engineer to The Rapture’s recent In the Grace of Your Love and Phoenix’s Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, will appear on Kindness’ long awaited debut LP, to be released next year.
