London's Pandr Eyez are comprised of two first-namers, Ferren (the American singer) and Tom (the British producer). They'll release their debut EP on Cascine later this month. "Eyes On You" is their first video, directed by Georgia Hudson. The track's a growler and its bass has teeth. The video's blood oranges and smushed kiwis are fine, but for us it's all about the bubble in the beat at 1:25, that moment the instrumental zips out and Ferren stacks her voice eight stories high, Beyonce style. It's a big time R&B moment.
