There’s a great American tradition of New York being a welcoming port and FADER teamed up with Converse’s new Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn to further it. Once a month, we’ll be welcoming touring artists to the neighborhood with a visit to a local Brooklyn institution, as well as making time for an intimate performance. Catch that exclusive show, interview and MP3s right here.

For a period in the late '90s, so afraid was New Haven, CT's Hill Regional Career High School of the propensity for early-evening adolescent hi-jinx that the school resigned to having their dances during school hours, in the middle of the day. As perplexing as that was to non-attendees (of high school age), a break from the rigmarole of Algebra II for a sort-of musical therapy makes perfect sense in hindsight. Zola Jesus' Rubber Tracks performance provided a similar catharsis to the working (and schooling) stiffs who were fortunate enough to attend. Drink up the powerful charge of Conatus' "Hikikomori," live, which you can download exclusively, below and follow us on Twitter for the opportunity to be a part of the the next Brooklyn Bound engagement.
