LaurenceAirline’s Ivory Coast Debut

January 12, 2012

LaurenceAirlines debut collection focuses on shirting and underwear that mixes chambray, poplin, and printed waxed cottons in some strange and beautiful ways. In addition to fashion, the clothing line, based in Abijan, Côte d'Ivoire, has philanthropic goodwill on their agenda: "In the aftermath of the Ivory Coast humanitarian and political crisis, there is a fashion label bringing hope to the country." All of the looks in the collection bear names like Heart, Charity, Hope and the locally-based garment production generates employment opportunities in Abijan. LaurenceAirline has put out this video to accompany their lookbook. The two dudes in this clip wear the spring collection like second skin as they zip around on scooters and frolic on their own personal beach.
