“Too Faded” is another one from the voraciously prolific Soulja Boy to tide us over while we wait for his upcoming full-length, Promise. The Game, who opens the track, sounds like he’s been studying Rick Ross’ timbre and phrasing, while Soulja rattles of a list of what they were probably imbibing in the studio. Promise is appropriately slated for release on April 20th.

what a biter
eeeh ? Soulja Boy just straight up jacked ASAP Rocky’s flow
Voraciously prolific?
yeah, but the flow is much less effective when the words don’t actually rhyme.
Still trying to figure out why these fuckoids waste time posting this bs when there’s guys like NEAKO and ASAP making good music. I used to respect Fader, now they’re becoming like every other music mag/site…oh but wait, everybody else is up on the new shit. haha..catch up guys.
I agree. I’ve never seen a Neako post on Fader and that guy has been with Wiz and Curren$y for mad long and has songs with Juicy J. I saw him perform in New Hampshire and it was crazy.
RICK ROSS FT ASAP ROCKY -FADED
What a waste of space these two are. especially the Game.
And this site seems to be on soulja boy’s dick
SMH
soulja really took ASAPs flow wat a bitch and what is the game doing with soulja??? i thought he hated lil b and all them niggas fuck this LAME
Nah. Soulja didn’t take ASAP’s flow. Anyone can flow like that.
Soulja doesn’t really bite anybody, he just isn’t afraid to try new things. It would be a different story if he turned around Rocky’s flow and sold a record like that before Rocky did. To be honest, I’m not actually sure if either is that different skill-wise. A$AP just sells a better image. And as Noz has pointed out, Soulja’s gift to the rap community is choosing to work with and highlight progressive producers and rappers no one really messes with. The game does not fall into that category of course.
Soulja is a hell of a biter, but a) ASAP doesn’t actually have a style and b) Soulja was on ASAP’s style before ASAP was, which is to say Soulja was jacking Lil B’s producers first.
The Game is silly but his first two records are pretty awesome.
