Ray Vicks is a Baton Rouge resident who released a collaborative tape with Lil Boosie last year. He works in a similar vein of anguished rap—there's no detached wordplay, just emotive confessionals. "Krazy," from DJ 5150's recent G.O.E. mixtape is a great example of how to pull of this style correctly, with nicely evocative production and earnest rapping.
