MoMA to Host Kraftwerk Retrospective

Electronic music luminaries, Kraftwerk will be celebrated at Museum of Modern Art with Kraftwerk-Retrospective 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, a retrospective performed live on eight consecutive evenings. The time-based exhibition will be the first of its kind at the museum. Accompanied by 3-D projections, Kraftwerk will play music from each of their albums, as well as reconfigured compositions from their catalogue. The exhibition begins on April 10th with their 1974 debut, Autobahn, with each following evening dedicated to their discography in chronological order. Tickets go on sale here on February 22nd.

    What do you mean “1974 debut, Autobahn”? That was their fourth album (although admittedly the one were they found their format)
