Since tomorrow is Fat Tuesday (that’s Latin for “Mardi Gras”), it’s only appropriate to party with New Orleans-born rapper Fiend. Fiend’s evolution into his composed, relatively-restrained International Jones persona is very much evident here, an impressive feat considering how well his younger, explosive personality was suited to the track’s subject matter: Drank sippin, bottle poppin, big tippin, etc. But while his style may have matured, Fiend is still the same person, and likewise, “Mardi Gras” is still the same celebration. Just make sure to delicately raise a pinky finger while throwing the shots back.
