Victor Klyuchnikov, the 20-year-old Russian producer known charmingly as Cosmonaut Grechko, has remixed Kido Yoji’s incredible disco song from last summer, "Call A Romance." While the original made great use of thin, electro synths, Klyuchnikov favors the most fragile pops and blips, like little stars you make by poking pins through black construction paper and holding it up to the sun. Yesterday, Klyuchnikov switched the Soundcloud stream for his most recent EP, Alaska 2100, to download. Grab that, and stream another newish one below, the delicate, Françoise Hardy-sampling "Only Friends," which is the sonic equivalent of lying under a waterfall of seltzer bubbles and feeling terribly alone.
