Video: Lil Durk, “JackBoy”

Lil Durk may be less familiar to national audiences than King Louie or Chief Keef, both of whom appear in Durk’s new video, but on Chicago’s East Side, he’s a similarly significant presence. “JackBoy,” his latest single, is in the same melodic vein as last year’s “I’m A Hitta,” rather than the footwork/rap fusion of this year’s “I Get Paid.” The most exciting Durk release thus far, though, is just a snippet. “L’s Anthem”, once released in full, could be the track that breaks Durk open to a new audience.
