Onetime Source and Vibe editor, Behind the Music producer and NYU film school alum Dream Hampton directed this ladies-only video for THEESatisfaction’s “Queens.” Full of beauties in dress-up, the clip was inspired by art star Mickalene Thomas, best known for her large, sequin-crusted paintings of spectacularly dressed (and undressed) women posing in wildly patterned stage sets. It makes a nice chaser for an episode of Girls.
