If there’s any take away from Nas’ video for “The Don” it’s that he feels full ownership of the prestigious title he’s bestowed upon himself. See: Chauffeured rides over the Queensborough Bridge in the back of white luxury car, rooftop dining replete with mimosas and made to order omelettes and sparklers-with-your-champagne-bottle treatment in VIP. Yesterday Nas presented the pressures of parenthood with “Daughters,” but in this new clip it’s clear he’s good at relieving stress, too. Considering Heavy D’s propensity for flossing, the late rapper would have been proud of the visuals Nas chose for this track, which D co-produced. Life is Good is out June 17th.

Shit is tight
Dope clip. Love Nas. Love the song. Disappointed by a couple of things however:
1. The choice to cut to the young ladies whenever ‘bitch’ is said (and that it’s said)
2. NO SUPERCAT CAMEO
