Montreal’s Calvin McElroy, recording as Kuhrye-oo, has released a collaborative video for “For the Fame II,” a reworked version of the song “Give In (For the Fame)” from his new EP. “II” is even brighter than its predecessor, imbued with a charming DIY sensibility thanks to its mildly psychedelic, tiny-budget visuals. Claire Boucher bka Grimes appears, but as she tweeted, doesn’t “star,” performing an interpretive dance in a New Orleans abandoned Six Flags, an amusement park that was closed after being submerged for two weeks following Hurricane Katrina.
