Rapper Mitchy Slick recently released a compilation entitled WrongKind is Everywhere, which features a variety of up-and-coming and/or Mitchy-affiliated artists. One of the record’s biggest highlights is the Rick Ross-inspired “Rozay” by newcomer Ocean. With a google-unfriendly moniker, his internet presence is fairly low-profile; his song is anything but. Building off of the post- “BMF” Ross aesthetic, “Rozay” is a non-stop onslaught of funny lyrics punctuated by a sample of Rozay’s signature adlib. A relentless monster of a track, “Rozay” has a uniquely Cali sense of humor, but a sound that could be big anywhere.
