“Cash, Diamond Rings, Swimming Pools” is just the third song from Denitza Todorova bka D E N A, an artist with a charming Bulgarian-via-Berlin accent, an insane floral print suit and a gift for jutting her bottom lip to look bored and interesting at the same time. We’re coming to this one a week late—Disco Naïveté premiered the video, Charli XCX cosigned and Portals scored an interview—but have a feeling the song could linger through the summer. It’s got the perfect sentiment for left-field barbecue playlists: All I want is you with my friends by the swimming pool.

    No, no, no! This is NOT good! I’m from Berlin and am ashamed of that production! Her style, voice, beat, melody are whack! I get the Kreayshawn/RiffRaff stuff, but this is kind of a really really bad copy..
