Davido’s “Dami Duro” has been one of my favorite songs this summer, and on “OverSeas,” the Atlanta-born, Nigerian-based singer applies his gift for enthusiastic melodies to the lilting syncopation of Caribbean-influenced house again. There’s something sweet and refreshing about the earnestness of his performance, and how genuinely entranced he seems with the target of his desire.
