Cop A Look: Sister Sister

Flash back to an age where mismatched patterns, denim hats and elaborate layers ruled, a time when accessories were not merely an option but a necessity. Welcome to the world of Sister Sister.  A product of the early ’90s, the series starred identical twins Tia and Tamera Mowry. The real life sisters played separated-at-birth twins reunited after a one-in-a-million chance encounter at the local shopping center. For six golden seasons, the two girls, alongside irritating teen neighbor Roger Evans, (played by Marques Houston) rocked floral prints galore, the occasional plaid, and often a textured vest to finish off the look. By the later episodes, Tia and Tamera had refined their eccentric style, adding sheer collared shirts and that perfect shade of sparkled eye shadow to their already elaborate closet.
