Video: Chairlift, "I Belong in Your Arms (Japanese Version)"

Young Turks are releasing Chairlift’s Something LP in Japan this week, and to celebrate the Brooklyn band have recorded an incredible Japanese version of their upbeat album-standout "I Belong in Your Arms." Frontwoman Caroline Polachek's singing sounds totally natural—she lived in Tokyo as a child—and if this new version's not a surprising improvement, it's at least as good as the original. Asian pop groups have long incorporated English lyrics into their music, and it's pretty amazing to see it go the other way around.
