Hear Lady Gaga’s Scrapped Version of Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe”

November 08, 2012

Lady Gaga was slated to appear on Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d. city, but didn't manage to record her part on "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" before the album's deadline. “Lady GaGa was going to be on the song," Lamar told Complex, adding that he's happy with how things ultimately panned out. "We had a date, but we had to meet the deadline for the pre-order date. That’s just the business side coming through and messing things up. But you know it’s god’s plan. I’m not really too tight about it because I know we have something special.” Last night, Gaga released the above "LG Mix" of the track, where she handles the hook. Sounwave, the track's producer, says Lamar's team is still interested in working with Gaga, though. "We’ll have something with her and Kendrick very soon,” he says.
