Earlier this month, rap trio Pac Div dropped “Cross-Trainers,” an ode to sneakers featuring Kendrick Lamar. They keep things mostly lighthearted on “The Return,” an LA-worshiping cut from their new album GMB, out November 27th via RBC. The group’s rapping feels effortless, as does the warm melody that comes courtesy of “My Cabana” rapper Ty$ (read: Ty dolla-sign). Girls just wanna have fun / Ride around top down in the sun, Ty$ sings on the radio-ready hook. It’s a sentiment reminding us that—even as winter approaches—it’s always sunny in SoCal.
