A member of the LA-based 6BIT Collective, a self-styled "cyber commune" of genre-blendering SoundCloud producers, Dreams recently relocated to New York City, and put out a collection of dexterously rhythmic dance history deconstructions on Astro Nautico. This track, from Friends of Friends' upcoming Show Me The Future compilation, catches beatsmith Jesse Pimenta at a more soulful and downtempo moment, mixing two-step and garage rhythms with hearty helpings of synth glitz and crush-confessional R&B. The comp features Octo Octa, Ryan Hemsworth and some pretty sweet, airbrush-style art work by Bryant Rudledge of Low Limit/Lazer Sword, and it'll be available as a free download on January 15th.
