Heralding a song or album as the "return of" an artist is probably one of the more overused tropes in the world of music journalism. Unless, of course, the artist himself alludes to such in the very title of the project. From the sound of Yelawolf's "Way Out," the first single from the upcoming Trunk Muzik Returns, our FADER #70 coverboy has gone back to the sound that put him on the map, assisted, of course, by the airy knock of producer Willpower. Wolf has flown low to the ground as of late, even with his recent collab EP with Travis Barker, Psycho White, but "Way Out" is a promising reintroduction. Trunk Muzik Returns is scheduled for release March 14th.
