Cole released five songs on his Dream Villain blog, recorded at different points in his career (one dates back to 2009), to build the anticipation for his upcoming Born Sinner album. According to Cole, this is not be considered a mixtape or even a preview of the album, but is simply a grabbag gift to devoted and patient fans.
