Rush Midnight is the solo project of Russ Manning, the bassist from Twin Shadow. After putting out a super worldly pop album of synths and noodly guitar last fall, he's got a new song out now to celebrate a string of shows he's doing, starting tomorrow at Glasslands in Brooklyn (FADER editor Duncan Cooper will also be DJing for his solo project Wildarms). "Don't Give Me Your Love" is great, a perfect piece of slinky pop that's got its heart in the '80s but a rhythm that's entirely contemporary. Take a listen.
