Azealia Banks Covers The Strokes

Azealia Banks, Ariel Pink's newest BFF, has recorded a cover of The Stroke's 2001 album cut "Barely Legal," debuted today on New Zealand radio. It's all studio-treated singing and no rapping, harking back to Banks' hasty 2012 claim that "From now on I'm a vocalist, and will not be associating myself with the 'rap game'… or whatever the fuck that means." Listen below and then—why not—download Real Estate's "Barely Legal" cover, released a couple years back on Stereogum's Strokes tribute comp. Who wore it best?
