Jay Z released his much-discussed performance art film for "Picasso Baby"—a who's who roll call of the arts world -- on Friday night. Joined by director Mark Romanek, the rapper filmed the video last month at New York's Pace Gallery, where Jay performed the track -- off his latest, Magna Carta Holy Grail—for six hours straight. A “cross section of the New York art and cultural world" was invited, including Jerry Saltz and Marina Abramovic of The Artist is Present fame, along with a handful of journalists and celebrities. Watch the film above and don't miss our sidewalk-lurker's-eye-view take on the event.
