Mac Miller celebrates the tail-end of Halloween with Delusional Thomas, a new tape where he raps as his pitched-up alter ego of the same name. (Like Arca’s studio-treated rapping on “Broke Up,” the Delusional Thomas voice reminds me of the little alien nerdlucks from Space Jam.) The whole thing’s entirely produced, without samples, under Miller’s beat-making alias, Larry Fisherman. Earl Sweatshirt, Da$h and regular-old Mac Miller appear as guests. For some context on Miller’s prolific, enthusiastically creative 2013, read his FADER cover story.
